The purpose of the Evaluation Kit is to provide the designer with a convenient way to evaluate the Avago Technologies’ XFP transceivers. The designer can evaluate the management interface, as well as the electrical and optical performance.

Features

  • Evaluation Kit includes:
    • Evaluation PCB for XFP with very high performance SMA connectors for XFI I/O (card includes RS232 to I2C translator)
    • RS232 and power supply cables.
    • Evaluation kit software on CDROM - allow 2 wire Serial control of XFP
  • Note: The eval kit does NOT contain a XFP transciever
